Grade 10 and Grade 12 students were taken for an educational visit to Nitte Campus .The orientation session was followed by a visit to the institutes at the campus -NMIT, NCOPS, NSFTID & Nitte Architecture. The one day visit was very informative for the students.
23 students of NIS are attending the Annual training camp-III at Vidyashilp Academy Yelahanka.The purpose of this camp is to enhance among the cadets, physical training, an understanding of camp security, rifle training ,map work to name a few .This kind of training will provide myriad career opportunities for NCC cadets .
The inaugural function of the Atal Tinkering Lab started with invoking the blessings of the almighty by lighting the Smart Lamp which was designed by Master Shriram Mayya of Grade 10.
Principal welcomed the dignitaries and acknowledged them for their valuable time, guidance and support at every stage. She also shared some of her insights in the field of technology specific to ATL. She urged the students to contribute to society by innovating and problem solving.
Our Honourable Chief Guest Dr.H.C Nagaraj Sir addressed the gathering with his motivational speech, explained the impact of innovation and technology by quoting the example of one of the students of NMIT who had developed Pico scale which made a great impact on society. He also spoke about the importance of ethics and culture.
Our Special Guest Dr. Sudheer Reddy gave a presentation on use of technology and gave valuable inputs to the students.
Our students showcased and demonstrated their projects which they had explored and executed. 3D printed models, home automations, Number Guesser, drawing pen, working of drones etc which are used in our real-time applications.
Student Representative Master Nikhil shared his learning experience and thanked the Management and school authorities for the opportunities provided.
Mr. Shridhar, coordinator ATL thanked Mr. N R Shetty Sir, Rohith Sir for their continuous support and guidance for setting up the lab.
The Program ended with the National Anthem.
Nitte International school has celebrated National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31-10-2022 to commemorate the Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
A Special assembly was conducted by class 11 students on unity day, unity pledge was taken by all students and teachers of Nitte International School and NCC cadets participated in unity run (2KM) followed by March past.
22nd October , 2022 was a momentous day which marked a whole new Chapter in the history of NIS - the first Alumni meet of Nitte International School , Bangalore, when we endeavoured to reconnect and rediscover the journey of our alumni in their home away from home.
The traditional welcome organised for the students made them feel very special as they walked the corridors of their Alma mater.
The overwhelming attendance of students filled the School Activity Hall with Cheers,laughter and resounding applause.
The highlight of the day was planting of saplings batch wise. The sumptuous lunch arranged for the students was another reminiscent of the school hostel and canteen life. The day closed with friendly matches. The day was charged with emotions and excitement, as we took a trip down the memory lane together.
